Recticel SA/NV manufactures and transforms polyurethane foams for the insulation, bedding, flexible foams, and automotive applications. The company's insulation business line offers sustainable thermal insulation material in rigid closed cell polyurethane (PUR) and polyisocyanurate foam (PIR). This business line manufactures PUR/PIR foam boards for thermally insulate walls, floors, and roofs; produces large foam blocks in rigid PUR/PIR and phenolic foam; and offers complex shapes from the large rigid foam blocks, such as plates, T-pieces, segments, and bends for the thermal insulation of pipes in buildings or of industrial installations. Its bedding business line provides fully finished mattresses, slats and bed bases, and beds, as well as produces sleep systems. The company's flexible foams business line offers semi-finished products in flexible polyurethane foam. This business line provides technical foams that are used in applications, such as sponges, scouring pads, filters, paint rollers, seals, packaging, acoustic insulation, energy and vibration absorption, rechargeable batteries, fire-retardant foam for high risk clothing, and light-stable foam; and composite foams, which are used in applications, including packaging materials, building acoustics, shoes, and indoor and outdoor sport fields. Its automotive business line offers interior solutions, such as dashboard skins and door panel trims; and produces seating pads in cold moulded foam, as well as other seating components, such as headrests, armrests, and side panels for car seats. The company offers bedding products under the Beka, Lattoflex, Literie Bultex, Schlaraffia, Sembella, Swissflex, Superba, GELTEX Inside, and Ubica brands; and thermal insulation products under the Eurowall, Powerroof, Powerdeck, and Powerwall brands. It has operations in Belgium, France, Germany, and other European Union countries. Recticel SA/NV was founded in 1896 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

Recticel Announces Consolidated Earnings Results for the First Half Ended June 30, 2014

Recticel announced consolidated earnings results for the first half ended June 30, 2014. For the period, the company reported sales of EUR 494.0 million against EUR 494.7 million a year ago. EBITDA was EUR 20.2 million compared to EUR 14.4 million a year ago. EBIT was EUR 5.9 million against LBIT of EUR 2.6 million a year ago. Loss of the period was EUR 5.0 million or EUR 0.17 per basic and diluted share compared to EUR 10.1 million or EUR 0.35 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net financial debt was EUR 161.3 million against EUR 123.7 million a year ago. Result of the period before taxes was EUR 1.1 million compared to EUR 8.2 million a year ago. Net book value per share was EUR 5.89 compared to EUR 7.51 a year ago. Net cash flow from operating activities was EUR 2.6 million compared to EUR 26.1 million a year ago.

Recticel reported unaudited consolidated sales results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014 and net debt as at March 31, 2014. Consolidated sales increased by 3.4% from EUR 247.5 million to EUR 255.9 million. Net financial debt amounted to EUR 145.9 million, compared to EUR 159.0 million at March 31, 2013. Combined sales increased by 4.9% from EUR 317.9 million to EUR 333.4 million. Combined net financial debt was EUR 170.5 million against EUR 191.3 million as at March 31, 2013. The markets in which Recticel is active remain volatile, but with an overall more positive trend. While remaining prudent, Recticel anticipates in 2014 its combined sales to grow by around 2%, and its combined recurring EBITDA to increase by up to 10%.
