Orex Minerals Inc. Reports Balance of Drilling Results from 2014 Fieldwork on the Jumping Josephine Gold-Silver Project

Orex Minerals Inc. has received complete results from 2014 diamond drilling on its 100% owned Jumping Josephine property, in southern British Columbia. As previously announced on November 14, 2014, Orex recently completed 8,115 million in near-resource step-out and project-wide reconnaissance drilling, part of a comprehensive exploration program. Prospecting, geological mapping, and trenching were also completed during the year. The 2014 season saw 25 HQ and NQ diameter drill holes completed in a campaign targeting prospective areas across the Jumping Josephine property. The program was divided into two phases. Nine holes targeted extensions beneath the existing NI43-101 compliant gold resource at Jumping Josephine (JJ Main area - 9 holes for 3,903m). The second phase comprised 16 reconnaissance holes and tested five additional prospect areas (16 holes for 4,212m). Reconnaissance drill results were anomalous in gold with best results returned by a quartz stockwork zone intersected by hole 14JD156 in the BZT prospect area. The hole returned 1m of 1.69g/t gold from 300m, 1m of 12.90g/t gold from 306m and 1m of 2.25g/t gold from 311.50m depth downhole. True widths are estimated at 82% of quoted down-hole length.

Orex Minerals Inc. Commences Drilling on the Los Crestones Gold Silver Copper Project in Sinaloa, Mexico

Orex Minerals Inc. announced a drill rig and crew are now at the Los Crestones Gold-Silver-Copper Project in Sinaloa, Mexico, and have commenced drilling as of December 07, 2014. This is for a 5,000 metres diamond drilling program. A KD-1000 man-portable drill rig will be used for HTW, NTW and BTW sized wireline core diamond drilling. These rigs are capable of exceeding a depth penetration of 1,000 metres and have a low environmental impact. The drilling program follows on the results of an airborne Magnetics and Radiometrics survey conducted by MPX Geoservices Ltd. and a TITAN-24 ground geophysical survey conducted by Quantec Geosciences Ltd. The ground geophysics included both Induced Polarization and deep penetration Magnetotellurics. The airborne and ground geophysical programs commissioned by Orex were designed to complement ongoing geological mapping and geochemical sampling. The Los Crestones project totals 4,168 hectares and is prospective for gold, silver and copper mineralization. Mineralization styles include north-south oriented structural zones hosting quartz veins, quartz stockworks and breccia fill possibly related to a deeper porphyry and/or diatreme system.

Orex Minerals Inc.'s Drilling Extends Loma Verde and Promontorio Veins on the Coneto Gold-Silver Project in Durango, Mexico

Orex Minerals Inc. has received from their project partner Fresnillo PLC, the third instalment of drilling results from the Phase-III diamond drill program on the Coneto Gold-Silver Project in Durango, Mexico. Notable intercepts include BCO-60 on the southeastern projection of the Promontorio vein, yielding 20.13 m (true thickness) grading gold 1.23 g/t and silver 25 g/t for a gold-equivalent of 1.64 g/t, or a silver-equivalent of 99 g/t. It includes 5.59 m grading gold 2.82 g/t and silver 66 g/t for a gold-equivalent of 3.93 g/t, or a silver-equivalent of 236 g/t. This hole was drilled on the same section, about 100 metres beneath the previously reported hole BCO-40, and 180 metres beneath the crest of Promontorio Ridge. On the northernmost known extension of the Loma Verde vein, hole BCO-55 yielded 4.20 m grading gold 0.93 g/t and silver 145 g/t for a gold-equivalent of 3.35 g/t, or a silver-equivalent of 201 g/t. This includes 1.60 m grading gold 1.96 g/t and silver 290 g/t for a gold-equivalent of 6.79 g/t, or a silver-equivalent of 407 g/t. This hole extends the mineralized intercepts at the Loma Verde vein to over a 1.0 km strike length.
