RLJ Lodging Trust Declares First Quarter of 2014 Dividend Payable on April 15, 2014

RLJ Lodging Trust announced that its Board of Trustees declared a regular first quarter of 2014 cash dividend of $0.220 per common share of beneficial interest. The dividend is payable on April 15, 2014, to shareholders of record as of March 31, 2014. The company's $0.220 quarterly cash dividend represents an increase of $0.015, or approximately 7.3%, over the company's 2013 fourth quarter regular dividend of $0.205.

RLJ Lodging Mulls Acquisitions

RLJ Lodging Trust (NYSE:RLJ) is looking for acquisitions. President and Chief Executive Officer, Thomas J. Baltimore Jr. said, “The Hyatt acquisition is further testament of our ability to become an aggregator in the urban, focused-service space. While we plan to expand our capital recycling program, we expect that for the year we will remain net buyers.” The official added, “In addition to the Hyatt portfolio, we have a very active deal pipeline. We are still under contract to purchase the Hilton Cabana in Miami, which we expect will be completed by the developer in the next two months.”
