Radha Madhav Corp. Ltd. announced unaudited earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of INR 79.75 million compared with INR 266.82 million for the same period a year ago. Loss from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 423.45 million compared with INR 42.62 million for the same period a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 492.69 million compared with INR 115.51 million for the same period a year ago. Net loss was INR 492.70 million or INR 15.14 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared with INR 115.64 million or INR 3.55 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items for the same period a year ago. For the six months, the company reported net sales of INR 155.72 million compared with INR 663.11 million for the same period a year ago. Loss from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 679.01 million compared with INR 58.70 million for the same period a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 812.13 million compared with INR 197.36 million for the same period a year ago. Net loss was INR 812.15 million or INR 24.96 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared with INR 197.50 million or INR 7.23 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items for the same period a year ago.
