Rouse Properties, Inc. announced it has entered into a lease agreement with Cinemark Holdings, Inc. to open a 12-screen, all-digital theatre featuring Cinemark's NextGen cinema design concept and XD auditorium at Southland Center. The approximately 50,000 square foot theatre equipped with fully reclining, leather loungers is expected to open in fall 2015.

Rouse Properties to Open Grimaldi's Pizzeria and Aveda Experience Center at Mall St. Vincent

Rouse Properties, Inc. announced that Grimaldi's Pizzeria ('Grimaldi's'), a national chain of pizza restaurants, and Aveda, a national manufacturer and distributor of cosmetic products, have signed leases at Rouse's Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport, Louisiana. Both concepts are slated to open in late 2014 in newly-constructed spaces near Dillard's on the newly-renovated streetscape that will be highly visible from the heavily traveled I-49 freeway. Grimaldi's will occupy a 3,500 square foot space that will be accessible through the mall's interior and exterior entrances and will have a large and inviting patio that will feature an indoor/outdoor bar. The Mall St. Vincent location will be the over 100-year-old pizza chain's second in the state of Louisiana and the first to open in the Shreveport/Bossier City market. Grimaldi's specializes in serving thin-crust pizza and calzones baked to perfection in its signature coal burning ovens. The chain's original location in Brooklyn, N.Y., has consistently ranked among the top pizzerias in the country by Zagat Survey and has also been chosen as one of the five best pizzerias in the United States by Food Network. The 1,800 square foot Aveda Experience Center will feature a prestige environment where guests can experience Aveda's botanically-based beauty products through a series of complimentary Rituals of Renewal designed to relax and nurture. In addition to leases with Grimaldi's and Aveda, Rouse recently announced that H&M is opening a 22,000 square foot store that will offer affordable fashion collections for the entire family. This H&M location will be the global retailer's first in the Shreveport/Bossier City market and is expected to open this fall in time for the Holiday shopping season. Located directly off of Interstate 49, Mall St. Vincent is a 530,000 square foot, single-level, enclosed mall serving the Shreveport/Bossier City market, an area that attracts millions of visitors each year. Mall St. Vincent is anchored by Dillard's and is home to existing national retailers such as Victoria's Secret, Coach, Buckle, Gap, American Eagle and Hollister.
