RDIF Might Raise Stake In MICEX-RTS

Alexei Chekunov, Chief Executive Officer of Russian Direct Investments Fund said that it might raise its stake in OAO "Energosbyt Rostovenergo" by the end of 2012. Chekunov added that RDIF is in talks with other shareholders who consider selling their stakes. “They are big, multibillion and even one-hundred-and-something-billion funds that want a piece of the Russian bourse, they realize that this is a good asset and a solid long-term investment,” he said adding that these funds are looking to purchase 1%-3% of the exchange.
