It accepts various deposit products, including commercial checking accounts, money market accounts, escrow deposit accounts, cash concentration accounts, interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing checking accounts, certificates of deposits, time deposits, and other cash management products. The company also offers loan products comprising commercial and industrial loans; real estate loans, such as loans secured by commercial and residential properties, and temporary financing for commercial and residential properties; letters of credit; and personal lines of credit and loans to acquire personal assets, as well as credit card accounts and home equity loans. In addition, it provides investment and asset management products and services consisting of various individual securities, such as equities, options, fixed income securities, mutual funds, and annuities, as well as individual retirement accounts and administrative services for retirement vehicles, which include pension, profit sharing, and 401(k) plans to its clients; and equipment finance and leasing, transportation financing, and taxi medallion financing services. Further, the company offers wealth management services to its high net worth personal clients; and a range of individual and group insurance products that comprise health, life, disability, and long-term care insurance products as an agent. Additionally, it purchases, securitizes, and sells guaranteed portions of small business administration loans. As of December 31, 2013, the company operated 27 private client offices located in the New York metropolitan area. Signature Bank was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in New York, New York.

Signature Bank Announces Management Appointments; Announces Opening of Forest Hills, Queens, N.Y. Office

Signature Bank announced that two private client banking teams have joined, increasing the total number of teams in its network to 94. Both teams will be based out of the Bank's Forest Hills, Queens, N.Y. office when it opens later in 2014. Tamara Gavrielof was named Group Director and Senior Vice President heading a five-person team, all joining from HSBC. She has worked in commercial banking in Forest Hills, where she was raised, for nearly 20 years. Gavrielof, with 26 years of related experience, spent the past seven as Cluster Branch Manager-Vice President at HSBC, heading a flagship HSBC branch on Continental Avenue in Forest Hills, Queens, N.Y., managing nearly 20 people. This branch represented four locations that were consolidated into one. Previously, she was a Senior Branch Manager for Commerce Bank in Forest Hills. Claudia Giraldo joins Gavrielof's team as Associate Group Director and Vice President, having worked with her for the past 10 years. Most recently, Giraldo was Business Relationship Manager and Vice President at the Union Turnpike branch in Glen Oaks, Queens. She also held similar roles in Manhattan and Forest Hills. Prior, she too worked at Commerce Bank as Assistant Branch Manager in Forest Hills. Also joining Gavrielof's team is Diego Pinzon, appointed Associate Group Director and Vice President. Pinzon served as Senior International Business Relationship Manager at the same location as Giraldo for 10 years. He was a Relationship Manager and Vice President at the Chase Bank on Northern Blvd. in Great Neck, handling a portfolio of business clients for the past eight years. Rosamaria Ferreira was named Senior Client Associate for the team. She previously held the role of Assistant Vice President and Assistant Branch manager for the Great Neck branch. She has spent 22 of the 34 years she has dedicated to the banking industry at Chase. Temporarily, Gavrielof and her team are working from Signature Bank's Sutphin Blvd. office in Jamaica, Queens while Weisbord and his team are in Long Island City, Queens. Signature Bank Appoints Three Private Client Banking Teams; to Open 28th Private Client Banking Office in Greenwich in 2014

Signature Bank the addition of three private client banking teams, bringing the total number of teams to 92. Each of the teams includes veteran bankers who bring decades of experience to Signature Bank's growing network of private client banking teams. Lucy Mazany was named Group Director and Senior Vice President, heading a four-person team that all join from Valley National Bank (formerly State Bank), and will be based out of the Signature Bank private client office in Jericho, Long Island, N.Y. She previously was Senior Vice President and Division Manager for 12 years at Valley National Bank, overseeing 15 Long Island branches. Also joining Mazany's team are Richard DeMartino, named Associate Group Director and Vice President; June Alleyne, who will serve as Relationship Manager; and, Hillary Bogi, Senior Client Associate. DeMartino, a banking veteran with 38 years of experience, spent the past 11 years as Vice President and Branch Sales Manager at Valley National Bank in New Hyde Park, N.Y. Alleyne's banking career spans 35 years. Before joining Signature Bank, she was a Vice President and Sales Manager for 11 years at Valley National Bank in Port Washington, N.Y. Thomas P. Mooney was named Group Director and Senior Vice President leading a three--person team that has worked together for seven years. The team will temporarily be based at the Bank's White Plains, N.Y. private client banking office until its newest office in Greenwich, Conn. opens later 2014. Mooney spent the past 10 years at JPMorgan Chase. Most recently, he was Northeast Region Recruiting Manager, handling recruitment for the entire Northeast for nearly two years. Andrew F. Corrado and Drew S. Crowley, each named to the post of Group Director and Senior Vice President, now will jointly head a five-person team in the Bank's Melville, N.Y. private client banking office. Corrado has dedicated his 27-year career to banking, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, heading the national Professional Services and Private Banking division at Capital One/North Fork Bank. Crowley most recently as Senior Vice President and Northeast Market Manager for Professional Services and Private Banking, based in Manhattan. Elizabeth Madigan and Anne Marie Immerso each join the Corrado/Crowley team as Associate Group Directors, also from Capital One/North Fork Bank. Both were Senior Vice Presidents and Relationship Managers in Melville, Long Island. Immerso has spent in excess of 25 years in the banking arena, having most recently worked as Senior Vice President at Capital One/North Fork Bank in Melville, managing commercial client relationships. Shya Chen was named Senior Client Associate for Crowley and Corrado's team. The Bank announced that it plans o open 28(th) Private Client Banking Office in Greenwich, Conn. in 2014.
