Its principal branded generic pharmaceuticals include Bicun, a prescription edaravone injection pharmaceutical for the treatment of strokes; Zailin, a line of generic prescription amoxicillin antibiotics; Yingtaiqing, an anti-inflammatory pain reliever and analgesic drug used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis; Yidasheng, a prescription edaravone injection pharmaceutical for the treatment of strokes; and Sinofuan for the treatment of cancer. The company also offers generic anti-diarrhea pharmaceutical products under the Biqi brand; amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium tablets, granules, and injection for the treatment of infections under the Anqi brand name; cefaclor in dry suspension antibiotics for the treatment of infections under the Zaike brand; herbal medicines for the treatment of coughs under the Simcere Kechuanning name; Jiebaishu, which is primarily used for the treatment of head and neck cancers, small cell lung carcinoma, non-small-cell lung carcinoma, esophageal cancer, and other solid tumors; and biapenem for the treatment of severe infections under the Anxin brand. In addition, it primarily develops bendamusting hydrochloride for injection, which is under the Phase III clinical study for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemias and indolent B cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma; and other product candidates, which are in the various stages of development. The company has strategic partnership and co-operation agreements with OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Bristol-Myers Squibb; and Merck & Co., Inc. Simcere Pharmaceutical Group was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Nanjing, the People’s Republic of China.
