SandRidge Energy, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, explores for and produces oil and natural gas properties primarily in the Mid-Continent region of the United States. It operates through three segments: Exploration and Production, Drilling and Oil Field Services, and Midstream Services. The Exploration and Production segment explores for, develops, and produces oil and natural gas properties; and operates wells. The Drilling and Oil Field Services segment is involved in the contract drilling of oil and natural gas wells. This segment also offers oil field services, including providing pulling units, trucking, rental tools, location, and road construction and roustabout services. The Midstream Services segment is engaged in purchasing, gathering, treating, and selling natural gas. As of December 31, 2013, it had 4,388 gross producing wells; approximately 3,624,000 gross total acres under lease; and 30 rigs drilling in the Mid-Continent, as well as estimated proved reserves were 433.4 million barrels of oil equivalent. SandRidge Energy, Inc. is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

SandRidge Energy, Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company's total revenues were $374.7 million compared with $512.99 million a year ago. Income from operations was $50.5 million compared with $86.5 million a year ago. Loss before income taxes was $9.99 million compared with income of $25.2 million a year ago. Loss applicable to the company common stockholders was $38.3 million or $0.08 per basic and diluted share compared with $34.3 million or $0.07 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Pro forma adjusted EBITDA was $210 million in the quarter compared to $162 million in the second quarter of 2013, 30% year-over-year growth. Adjusted operating cash flow was $187 million compared to $176 million in second quarter 2013. Adjusted net income was $34.2 million, or $0.06 per diluted share compared to adjusted net income of $44.6 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, in second quarter 2013. Total capital expenditures were $391.1 million compared with $390.7 million a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was $140.3 million compared with $263.2 million a year ago. EBITDA was $150.1 million compared with $206.6 million a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was $210.3 million compared with $267.6 million a year ago. Adjusted net income available to common stockholders was $20.3 million compared with $30.8 million a year ago. For the six months, the company's total revenues were $817.8 million compared with $1,024.7 million a year ago. Loss from operations was $23.5 million compared with income of $273.1 million a year ago. Loss before income taxes was $143.95 million compared with $501.6 million a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was $440.7 million compared with $537.4 million a year ago. Adjusted net income available to common stockholders was $50.3 million compared with $22.1 million a year ago. For the quarter, the company's oil production was 2,398 MBbl compared with 3,568 MBbl a year ago. NGL production was 748 MBbl compared with 551 MBbl a year ago.
