The SEEK Board has maintained its pay-out ratio of 50% of Cash NPAT8 and declared a final dividend of 16 cents which represents growth of 33% against previous comparable period. The dividend will be paid on 17 October 2014 with a 19 September 2014 record date.

SEEK Limited Announces Consolidated Earnings Results for the Year Ended June 30, 2014 ; Provides Outlook for the Fiscal Year 2015

SEEK Limited announced consolidated earnings results for the year ended June 30, 2014. For the year, the company reported operating revenue of AUD 713.30 million, revenue from continuing operations of AUD 724.20 million, profit from continuing operations before income tax of AUD 251.80 million, profit from continuing operations after income tax of AUD 198.40 million or 49.6 cents per diluted share, profit attributable to owners of the company of AUD 195.60 million or 56.8 cents per diluted share, net cash inflow from operating activities of AUD 237.20 million, payments for intangible assets of AUD 29.80 million, payments for plant and equipment of AUD 11.80 million compared to the operating revenue of AUD 520.90 million, revenue from continuing operations of AUD 527.10 million, profit from continuing operations before income tax of AUD 359.80 million, profit from continuing operations after income tax of AUD 308 million or 56.8 cents per diluted share, profit attributable to owners of the company of AUD 300.10 million or 88.3 cents per diluted share, net cash inflow from operating activities of AUD 167.50 million, payments for intangible assets of AUD 9.60 million, payments for plant and equipment of AUD 5.10 million for the previous year. Revenue was AUD 756.4 million compared to the AUD 620.2 million for the previous year. Reported EBITDA was AUD 308.5 million compared to the AUD 239.6 million for the previous year. Reported NPAT was AUD 195.6 million compared to the AUD 300.1 million for the previous year. Basic EPS (excl. significant items) was 53.0 cents compared to the 41.8 cents for the previous year. In terms of near term financial outlook, the company said, expect solid growth in Reported Revenue and EBITDA (fiscal year 2015 against fiscal year 2014) from each of organic growth and the JobStreet acquisition. Expect growth in NPAT to be moderately lower than Revenue and EBITDA growth (fiscal year 2015 against fiscal year 2014).

SEEK Appoints Julie Fahey as Nonexecutive Director

SEEK announced that Julie Fahey has been appointed to the Board as a nonexecutive Director, effective immediately. Julie has over 30 years of experience in technology, including in major organizations such as Western Mining, Exxon, Roy Morgan, General Motors and SAP, covering consulting, software vendor and Chief Information Officer roles. In addition to her industry experience, Julie spent 10 years at KPMG as a partner with the firm.
