SinterCast AB provides process control technology and solutions for the production of compacted graphite iron (CGI) to cast iron foundry and automotive industries worldwide. It offers fully automated System 3000, which comprises a series of individual hardware modules that could be configured to suit the layout, process flow, and production volume of a foundry for ladle production and pouring furnaces; and provides hardware and software platform that allows the foundry to independently control CGI series production and product development. The company also provides Mini-System 3000, a purpose-built thermal analysis system for product development, prototyping, and niche volume production. In addition, it offers sampling consumables that consist of Sampling Cup and the Thermocouple Pair products; and engineering services for product development, trials, new installations and calibrations, metallurgical consultancy, and ongoing customer service. SinterCast AB was founded in 1983 and is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

SinterCast Announces Management Changes

SinterCast at the annual general meeting held on May 20, 2014, announced that Hans-Erik Andersson was appointed as Chairman. Carina Andersson and Jason Singer were elected as new Board members. Ulla-Britt Frajdin-Hellqvist, after serving as a member of the Board of Directors since 2002 and as Chairman since 2006, declined re-election. The AGM also decided upon the constitution of the Nomination Committee until the next AGM, comprised of returning members Karl-Arne Henriksson (Chairman), Andrea Fessler and Ulla-Britt Frajdin-Hellqvist. Hans-Erik Andersson was elected as a new member of the Nomination Committee.

SinterCast Announces Group and Parent Company Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2014; Announces Production Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2014

SinterCast announced group and parent company earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014. For the first quarter of 2014, the group reported revenue was SEK 14.6 million compared to SEK 11.7 million for the same period last year. Operating result was SEK 2.9 million compared to SEK 1.5 million for the same period last year. Earnings result attributable to equity holder of the parent company was SEK 3.2 million compared to SEK 2.4 million for the same period last year. Diluted earnings per Share was SEK 0.45 per share compared to SEK 0.33 per share for the same period last year. Cash out flow from operations was SEK 2.1 million compared to cash in flow from operations of SEK 0.2 million for the same period last year. Acquisition of intangible assets was SEK 0.1 million. For the first quarter of 2014, the company reported revenue was SEK 14.4 million compared to SEK 50.9 million for the same period last year. Operating result was SEK 2.9 million compared to SEK 6.2 million for the same period last year. Earnings result attributable to equity holder of the parent company was SEK 3.2 million compared to SEK 2.6 million for the same period last year. Diluted earnings per Share was SEK 0.5 per share compared to SEK 0.4 per share for the same period last year. The company announced annualized series production during the quarter increased to 1.70 million Engine Equivalents, providing a 30% growth compared to the first quarter of 2013. Production in March totaled 1.75 million Engine Equivalents. The increase in series production was primarily driven by a 100% year-on-year increase in commercial vehicle volume, benefitting from new engine launches and the introduction of Euro 6 emissions legislation on January 01, 2014.

SinterCast AB Proposes Ordinary Dividend, Payable on May 28, 2014

The Board of Directors of SinterCast AB proposed an ordinary dividend of SEK 1.2 per share compared to last year same period of SEK 1.0, representing a transfer of SEK 8.5 million to the shareholders of the company. The Board proposed May 23, 2014 as the record date for entitlement to receive dividends. In deciding the amount of the dividend to be proposed to the AGM 2014. Anticipated payment date of dividend via Euroclear, three bank days after the record date for entitlement to receive dividends is May 28, 2014.
