S. Kumars Nationwide Ltd. announced that the resignation of Shri. Jitender Balakrishnan as Director from the Board of the Company.
S. Kumars Nationwide Ltd. (BSE:514304) is planning to divest Reid & Taylor and is looking for a potential buyer for the same. Reid & Taylor has gone into administration and S. Kumars has appointed O'Hara & Co as administrators on April 19, 2013. A spokesperson for O'Hara & Co told just-style it is looking for a potential buyer and that a small number of staff have been kept on to finish some work in progress. However, if the business is not sold, it will have to be liquidated. The spokesperson said, "There has been a major funding issue here in Scotland, which ultimately the lack of funding has resulted in the administration. There are a number of interested parties so we are looking to conclude negotiations with those parties as quickly as possible in order that we can preserve any sort of order book here and look to achieve a sale hopefully within the next week." It is understood that the administration only applies to the Reid & Taylor - Scotland operations, and the Reid & Taylor brand name will not be included in the sale.
