HPC Solutions designed by Supermicro feature architecture innovations that optimize performance, I/O bandwidth and compute density while providing the most efficient air flow for minimum power consumption as well as ease of installation and maintenance. With enhanced cooling and broadening support for Supermicro's new Titanium Level, high-efficiency (96%+) power supplies, these SuperServer(R) solutions offer peak performance with the most green computing advantages available on the market. New innovative platforms highlighted at ISC'14 include the robust 2U TwinPro(2)(TM) featuring 4x dual-processor (DP) nodes and redundant Titanium Level high-efficiency (96%+) power supplies, the extreme density, ultra low power 6U 112-node Intel(R) Atom(TM) based MicroBlade microserver (196 next-generation Xeon E5 DP per rack configuration coming), 1U NVMe/SAS3, 2U 6x GPU, 4U 8x GPU DP SuperServers, 4U Intel(R) Xeon(R) based 4x DP node 12x GPU FatTwin(TM) and 7U SuperBlade(R) in 4-way, 2x and 3x GPU configurations. Super Micro Computer, Inc. Provides Update on New NVMe Server Solutions

Super Micro Computer, Inc. announced NVMe servers supporting the new Intel(R) Solid-State Drive PCIe Family at Computex in Taipei, Taiwan. Supermicro has early qualification and optimization of Intel's SSD PCIe family on its 1U WIO, 2U Data Center Optimized (DCO), 2U EX DP 32 DIMM, 2U TwinPro(TM), 3U 11x PCI-E slot and 4U FatTwin(TM) SuperServers providing a range of NVMe solutions to meet the demands of the most data intensive applications for VDI, Very Large Database (VLDB) and Hyperscale computing applications. These new solutions deliver up to 6x IOPS throughput improvement over existing SATA 6Gb/s SSDs. Many more application specific NVMe optimized platforms featuring the new Intel(R) SSD DC P3700 Series, SSD DC P3600 Series and SSD DC P3500 Series are coming soon.

Super Micro Computer, Inc. Introduces 1U 32" 12x 3.5" HDD (10W120W Processor) Storage Solutions

Super Micro Computer, Inc. announced that it brings to market a new, compact, cost-effective storage solution with its new SSG-5018A-A(R/S)12L SuperStorage Server. This specialized storage server minimizes power consumption and reduces cooling requirements by spinning down or powering off idle drives and managing data streams via Supermicro's compact, low-power Intel(R) Atom(TM) C2750 based serverboard for cold storage. For more data intensive applications, configurations are available with the Intel(R) Xeon(R) E3-1200 v3 and E5-1600/2600 v2 processors. The complete solution is ready to deploy in a compact 1U 32" chassis supporting up to 48TB/72TB of 3.5" HDD storage. Flexible networking options are available with 2x 1GbE ports or 10GBase-T, SFP+ ports. In addition, the system is powered by redundant 400W/600W high efficiency power supplies for maximum fault resiliency.
