The company was formerly known as Sultan Corporation Limited and changed its name to Balamara Resources Limited in January 2012. Balamara Resources Limited was incorporated in 1993 and is based in Subiaco, Australia.

Balamara Resources Limited announced that Mr. Jerry Monzu has resigned as Joint Company Secretary, effective immediately. Mr. Daniel Kendall, who has been the Financial Controller of the Company over the past 12 months and has acted as Joint Company Secretary since January 2013, will assume the role of Company Secretary. Mr. Monzu has been with the Company since October 2010.
