Strike Energy To Evaluate Divestiture of US Assets

Strike Energy Limited (ASX:STX) stated that following the completion of the sale of the Lavaca County acreage, Strike Energy Limited will continue to evaluate opportunities to monetize the remaining elements of United States operations. As the portfolio of United States' assets currently generate positive cash flow, any further divestment opportunity will be evaluated in light of upfront sale consideration compared to the value of the asset’s future cash flows.

Strike Energy Limited Announces Management Changes, Effective from July 1, 2014

Strike Energy Limited announced the following changes to its management team effective July 1, 2014. Mr. Chris Thompson, currently General Manager, Cooper Basin has been appointed to an expanded role as the Company's Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Thomson will be responsible for the company's portfolio of exploration, evaluation and development activities with a primary focus on the Southern Cooper Basin Gas Project. In addition Mr. David Baker, currently a nonexecutive Director of the company will assume the role of Executive Director - Commercial. In his new role, Mr. Baker will be responsible for commercial initiatives required to progress the development of the Southern Cooper Basin Gas Project.
