Southcross Energy Partners, L.P. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company reported revenues of $175,139,000 against $151,660,000 a year ago. Income from operations was $4,485,000 against loss from operations of $5,587,000 a year ago. Income before income tax expense was $655,000 against loss before income tax expense of $8,625,000 a year ago. Net income attributable to partners was $260,000 against net loss attributable to partners of $4,228,000 a year ago. Net income allocated to limited partner subordinated units was $141,000 or $0.01 per basic and diluted share against net loss allocated to limited partner subordinated units of $2,071,000 or $0.17 per basic and diluted share a year ago. For 2014, on the maintenance capital front, company expects to spend between $5 million and $6 million for the year 2014. The company anticipates that for 2014, growth capital expenditures will be between $130 million and $150 million, with $125 million of that being spent related to the Webb Pipeline.

Southcross Energy Partners, L.P. Appoints John E. Bonn as President and Chief Operating Officer

Southcross Energy Partners, L.P. announced that John E. Bonn has joined Southcross' general partner as President and Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Mr. Bonn will be responsible for the company's operating functions which include the Partnership's commercial activities relating to both natural gas and natural gas liquids and operations. He will report directly to David Biegler who continues as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He joins Southcross after serving as President of NiSource Midstream Services LLC, where he was responsible for building their midstream business in the Appalachian Basin, successfully sourcing and overseeing midstream infrastructure opportunities, including natural gas gathering, processing and liquids handling. Principal operating officers reporting to Mr. Bonn will be: Corey Lothamer, Vice President Marketing and Gas Supply; Gerardo Rivera, Vice President, NGLs; and David Ishmael, Vice President, Operations. Michael Hunter continues as Vice Chairman and Ronald Barcroft as Senior Vice President, both of whom will work in business development and report directly to Mr. Biegler.
