Vodafone Looking To Buy One Of Brazil's Top 3 Carriers

Vodafone Group Public Limited Company (LSE:VOD) is said to be considering acquiring one of Brazil's top three mobile carriers, Brazilian paper O Estado de S. Paulo reported. The top three operators are Telefonica's Vivo Participacoes S.A., America Movil's Claro S.A. or Telecom Italia'sTim Brasil Serviços e Participações S.A., which each hold over 20% of the local market. On August 6, 2014, Telefónica, S.A.
