Teryl Resources Corp., an exploration stage company, engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Canada and the United States. It is also involved in the acquisition of oil and gas property interests, as well as drilling wells. The company primarily explores for gold, silver, lead, and zinc ores. It owns a 100% interest in the West Ridge property comprising 48 mineral claims covering an area of approximately 5,200 acres located in the Dome Creek area of the Fairbanks Mining District of Alaska. The company also holds a 30% working interest and a 10% net profit interest in the Silverknife property located in the Liard Mining Division in the province of British Columbia; and an option to earn 50% interest in the Fish Creek Prospect consisting of 30 mining claims, which covers an area of 1,032 acres located in the Fairbanks Mining district in Alaska. In addition, it holds a 6.5% working interest in the Peters No. 1 well located in Fayette County, Texas; and 4.992380% interest in the C-S #1 wells, 0.131510% interest in Jancik #2 wells, and 7.5% interest in Herrmann #4 wells located in Burleson County, Texas. The company was formerly known as Candy Mountain Gold Corporation and changed its name to Teryl Resources Corp. in February 1984. Teryl Resources Corp. was incorporated in 1980 and is based in Richmond, Canada.

Teryl Resources Corp. Acquires 50% Working Interest in the Fish Creek Property from Linux Gold Corp

Teryl Resources Corp. announced it has acquired a 50% working interest in the Fish Creek property from Linux Gold Corp, pursuant to an agreement dated March 5, 2002 /amended January 23, 2012. Linux Gold will retain a 5% net royalty with a limit of $2,000,000. Teryl has the right to purchase the 5% net royalty, for $500,000, within one year of production. The Fish Creek property consists of 30 claims adjacent to the Gil property, currently owned by Kinross Gold Corporation. The Gil 20% interest, previously owned by Teryl Resources Corp., was acquired by Kinross on December 22, 2011 for $15 million in a payment of $2.5 million initially and another payment of $1.5 million when in production with the balance from a 1% royalty. Teryl retains a half of 1% royalty for the life of the mine.
