Tsingtao Brewery Company Limited reported unaudited earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, revenues reached RMB 6.312 billion, increased by 12.7% on a year-on-year basis and net profits attributable to shareholders of the company reached RMB 488 million, increased by 8.3% on a year-on-year basis. Net cash flow from operating activities was RMB 1,590,490,000 against RMB 1,193,725,000 a year ago. The revenue increased by 12.72% from the corresponding period in prior year, which was mainly due to the increase in revenue resulting from the growth of sales volume of principal products of the company during the reporting period. The net cash out-flow from investing activities decreased by 14.09% from the corresponding period in prior year, which was mainly due to the decrease in cash paid for purchasing and building the fixed assets during the reporting period from the corresponding period in prior year.
Tsingtao Brewery Company Limited will amend articles of association at its AGM to be on 25 June 2013.
