WhereverTV Broadcasting Corporation announced the launch of its expanded ArabicTV service offering, which includes 21 of the most popular channels from the Middle East, now available at http://arabic.wherever.tv. WhereverTV's ArabicTV line-up includes channels from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen, with plans to offer more than 50 channels by year end. The service is now available to the tens of millions of Arab emigrants and expatriates living in North America, South America and Western Europe.
WhereverTV Broadcasting Corporation announced plans to add Wi-Fi Alliance's Miracast screencasting capabilities to WhereverTV's Android application for smartphones and TabletPCs. Industry analyst IHS iSuppli expects over 1.5 billion devices to ship in 2016 with the Miracast technology. There are already 135 Miracast certified display devices (e.g. televisions) available from Samsung, LG, Sony, Toshiba and many others. Android smartphone manufacturers, including market leaders HTC, Nokia, and Samsung, have already certified 54 different source devices. The updated WhereverTV Android application with Miracast support is expected to be available by the end of second quarter of 2013.
WhereverTV Broadcasting Corporation announced the upcoming launch of its expanded ArabicTV service offering, which will include more than 25 of the most popular channels from the Middle East. In addition to offering the most popular channel from Morocco, 2M Maroc, the company is to be adding channels from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates. The new ArabicTV service will be available via the Company's WhereverTV application, currently available on GoogleTV and Android Smartphones and TabletPCs, and is expected to be available on Apple devices later this month.
