The company operates through Agricultural, Earthmoving/Construction, and Consumer segments. It offers rims, wheels, tires, and undercarriage systems and components for various agricultural and forestry equipment, including tractors, combines, skidders, plows, planters, and irrigation equipment. The company also provides its products for various types of off-the-road earthmoving, mining, military, and construction equipment comprising skid steers, aerial lifts, cranes, graders and levelers, scrapers, self-propelled shovel loaders, articulated dump trucks, load transporters, haul trucks, backhoe loaders, crawler tractors, lattice cranes, shovels, and hydraulic excavators. In addition, it manufactures bias truck tires; provides wheels and tires; and assembles brakes, actuators, and components for the domestic boat, recreational, and utility trailer markets, as well as offers products for all-terrain vehicles, turf, and golf cart applications. The company sells its products directly to original equipment manufacturers, independent distributors, equipment dealers, and distribution centers. Titan International, Inc. was founded in 1890 and is based in Quincy, Illinois.

Titan International Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2014. Sales for second quarter 2014 were $523.7 million down 11.7%, compared to $593.3 million in the second quarter of 2013. Sales decreased 14.0% as the result of price/mix reductions driven from decreased demand for the company's products used in the mining industry and larger agricultural products. Loss from operations in the second quarter 2014 was $29.5 million compared to profit from operations of $36.9 million last year. Adjusted net income for the second quarter was $1.7 million, compared to $13.7 million in the second quarter of last year. Adjusted basis earnings per share for the second quarter 2014 and 2013 were $0.03 and $0.26 respectively, and adjusted fully diluted earnings per share were $0.03 and $0.24 respectively. Net loss attributable to company was $20.51 million against net profit attributable to company of $23.21 million a year ago. DPS was $0.38 against $0.40 a year ago. Capital expenditures were $14.1 million for the second quarter of 2014 and $14.9 million in the second quarter 2013. For the six months, the company’s net sales were $1,062.7 million compared to $1,171.7 million in 2013, a decrease of 9.3%. Sales decreased 13.0% as the result of price/mix reductions driven from decreased demand for the company's products used in the mining industry and larger agricultural products. Loss from operations in the second quarter 2014 was $292.0 million compared to profit from perations of $84.78 million last year. Net loss attributable to company was $18.34 million against net profit attributable to company of $42.69 million a year ago. DPS was $0.34 against $0.74 a year ago. Adjusted net income was $3.82 million or $0.07 diluted against $37.04 million or $0.65 diluted per share a year ago. Year-to-date expenditures were $30.9 million for 2014 compared to $36.1 million for 2013. Net debt was $365.0 million at June 30, 2014, compared to $369.1 million at December 31, 2013.
