Uranium Participation Corporation reported unaudited earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended August 31, 2014. Net loss was $83.5 million for the six months ended August 31, 2014 against $89.3 million a year ago.

Uranium Participation Corporation announced that Mr. Scott Melbye has been appointed as vice president, Commercial, effective September 2, 2014. Scott will be replacing Mr. Don Campbell who is retiring. Don has been responsible for company's commercial activities since it was formed. Through June 2014, Scott was executive vice president, marketing for Uranium One, responsible for global uranium sales activities. He most recently served as president of Cameco Inc.
