It operates 170 restaurants in Nigeria and 3 restaurants in Ghana under the Mr. Biggs, Village Kitchen, Pizza Inn, Chicken Inn, and Creamy Inn brand names. The company also manufactures snacks and beverages, including sausage rolls and crunchies under the Gala brand; cakes and coconut chips under the Funtime brand; cheeseballs under the Snaps brand; ice-creams and flavored milk under the Supreme brand; fruit juice under the Delite brand; and water and soft drinks under the Swan brand. In addition, it provides various cereals under the Mealia, Richfil, Grand Brabusco, Grand Maize Flour, Homny Maize Grits, Fine Grits, and Maize Offal brands; groundnut, soya, and vegetable oils under the Grand, Desire, and Gold Medal brands; spring water under the GOSSY brand; and feed, premixes, soya and groundnut cakes, and concentrates under the Vital brand. Further, the company offers warehousing and ancillary services, such as general, dedicated, customized, and off-site warehousing; inventory management; sales administration; distribution management; information management; and credit control administration, as well as provides haulage and distribution services. Additionally, it manufactures paints and coatings; assembles and markets Isuzu commercial vehicles, including pick-ups, trucks, and buses; administers a closed pension fund; and operates as a capital market registrar to perform share registration functions, as well as engages in the acquisition, development, sale, and management of commercial and residential properties. The company was formerly known as UAC of Nigeria Limited and changed its name to UAC of Nigeria Plc in 1991. UAC of Nigeria Plc was incorporated in 1931 and is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
