Senex Energy Limited to Appoint Trevor Bourne as Independent Non-Executive Director, Effective from December 1, 2014

Senex Energy Limited announced that Mr. Trevor Bourne has agreed to join the company as an independent non-executive Director, and the Board will make the formal appointment on December 1, 2014. He also announced that the 2014 AGM will be his last as Chairman, and that in coming months he will step down from the Chairman's role and the Board will announce the appointment of a new Chairman at that time. Mr. Patten will remain on the board. The company said Mr. Bourne's extensive experience both as a senior executive and as a non- executive director will bring considerable capability to the board as the company embarks on its next phase of growth. Mr. Bourne has an extensive background in executive management and non-executive roles across resources and energy, manufacturing, logistics and engineering. He has been a member of the Caltex board since March 2006 and is currently chair of the occupational health and safety committee and a member of the audit and remuneration committees. Mr. Bourne also chairs the safety committee for Sydney Water's board, which he joined in February 2014. Mr. Bourne has served as chair or director of a number of public companies in Australia. He was a founding director of Origin Energy Limited following the Boral demerger from February 2000 until October 2012. Over that time, he chaired the Remuneration Committee and served on the Audit and Safety Committees. He was the Chief Executive of Tenix Investments Pty Ltd. from 1999 to 2003, and he spent 15 years with Brambles Industries Limited, with six of those years as Managing Director of their Australian and Asian operations.

Senex Energy Limited Announces Executive Changes

Senex Energy Limited announced the appointment of Brett Smith as Executive General Manager (EGM) Safety, People & Systems. In this role, Brett will be responsible for safeguarding people, the environment and the company's license to operate. Brett takes over this role from Gary Proctor, who will remain available to Senex on a consultant basis. Brett will also provide executive leadership for the delivery of the company's recently announced Western Surat Gas Project. Brett was previously with QGC a BG Group business, where as Vice President Sustainability he was accountable for all stakeholder relationships for the QCLNG Project.
