On May 3, 2013, URS Corporation declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.21 per common share for the second quarter of 2013. The dividend will be paid on July 5, 2013 to stockholders of record as of June 14, 2013. URS Corporation reported unaudited consolidated financial results for the fiscal first quarter ended March 29, 2013. Revenues for the first quarter of 2013 were $2.80 billion compared to $2.36 billion recorded during the first quarter of 2012. Operating income for the quarter was $152.6 million, compared with $161.4 million reported in the corresponding period of the prior year. Net income attributable to the company was $71.9 million, compared with net income of $79.7 million reported in the first quarter of 2012. Diluted earnings per share were $0.96, compared with EPS of $1.07 reported in the first quarter of last year. Income before income taxes was $129.0 million against $154.1 million a year ago. Net income including noncontrolling interests was $86.8 million against $105.5 million a year ago. Net cash from operating activities was $49.7 million against negative net cash from operating activities of $20.7 million a year ago. Capital expenditures, less equipment purchased through capital leases and equipment notes were $25.0 million against $17.8 million a year ago. The company continues to expect that fiscal 2013 consolidated revenues will be between $11.8 billion and $12.2 billion. The company also continues to expect that EPS will be between $4.25 and $4.75, on a fully diluted basis.
