Ultima Networks plc provided earnings guidance for the year ended December 31, 2012. Given the fall in demand for Ultima's electric powered bicycles in 2012 the group's revenues for the full year will be lower than the previous financial year, however with the further investment in the developing of existing and potential new products, the board believes the group is now well positioned for growth.

The Board of Ultima Networks plc announced that its Green Technology Division has won an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to install a 150kw Solar PV installation from MJ & SC Collins, a local farm in Essex. The installation will be situated on five farm buildings and will power the various industrial units needed to run the 3,000 acre arable farm, such as crop drying. It is expected to be completed by end of October 2012.

Ultima Networks plc reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2012. For the period, the company reported revenue of £1,416,000, operating loss of £29,000, loss before taxation and total comprehensive loss for the period attributable to equity holders of the company of £34,000 or 0.0001 pence per basic and diluted share compared to of £1,536,000, operating profit of £195,000, profit before taxation and total comprehensive income for the period attributable to equity holders of the company of £190,000 or 0.06 pence per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was £501,000 against net cash generated from operating activities of £136,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was £22,000 against £8,000 a year ago.
