Net cash used in operating activities was ¥2,215 million against net cash provided by operating activities of ¥12,302 million last year. Purchases of property, plant and equipment was ¥5,931 million against ¥3,138 million last year. Purchases of intangible assets were ¥443 million against ¥329 million last year. For the year ending March 31, 2014, the company expects net sales of ¥160,000 million to ¥160,000 million, operating income of ¥13,000 million, income before income taxes and equity in earnings of ¥13,000 million and net income of ¥9,800 million or ¥56.39 per share. The company announced final dividend for the year ended March 31, 2013. For period, year-end dividend is ¥10.00 per share against ¥10.00 per share last year. Annual total dividend will be ¥20.00 per share against ¥15.00 per share last year. The dividend will be paid on June 4, 2013. The company expects interim dividend of ¥10.00 per share for fiscal 2013. For the year ending March 31, 2014, the company expects year-end dividend of ¥10.00 per share. Annual total dividend will be ¥20.00 per share against ¥20.00 per share last year.

Advantest Corporation has installed several of its V93000 Smart Scale(TM) generation testers, configured for testing system-on-chip (SOC) devices, at Powertech Technology Inc.'s outsource semiconductor assembly and testing (OSAT) facility in Taiwan. All of the systems in PTI's order feature Advantest's Dragon configuration with performance capabilities including clock-domain-per-pin(TM), parametric measurement units (PMU) per pin and system-like stress testing, which PTI plans to employ in testing advanced SOCs. The order includes V93000 A-Class and C-Class configurations. The V93000 A-Class tester uses Advantest's smallest test head, which minimizes the system's footprint and power consumption to achieve a low cost of ownership. The C-Class system is equipped with the test head available for the V93000 Dragon system. All classes of V93000 Smart Scale testers are compatible, giving users the flexibility to shift semiconductor devices from one Smart Scale class to another as IC production volumes and testing needs change over time.
