Volterra Semiconductor Corporation announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, net revenue was $39.9 million, a 5% decrease from $42.1 million in the first quarter of 2012. Income from operations was $3.179 million against $6.159 million in the same period a year ago. Income before income taxes was $3.131 against $6.247 in the same period a year ago. GAAP net income was $3.0 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, a 51% decrease from $6.2 million, or $0.23 per diluted share in the first quarter of 2012. Non-GAAP net income was $5.8 million, or $0.22 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2013, a 32% decrease from $8.6 million, or $0.32 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2012.
