Valterra Resource Corporation Identifies New High-Grade Samples at Bobcaygeon Graphite Project

Valterra Resource Corporation reported that new sampling from the Bobcaygeon graphite property located in southern Ontario, continues to expand and develop targeting at two prospects on the project. Sampling and mapping at the Salerno Zone returned values of up to 24.5% Cg over 1.0 metres in graphite--rich horizons within gneissic marbles near the contact with gneissic clastic metasedimentary rocks. The new assay results confirm both earlier sampling in the area and extend mineralization to the north and northeast. The graphite--rich horizon lies along the north contact of the Salerno Creek Deformation Zone, and is believed to extend some 1800 meters to the west and is up to 60 to 120 meters wide. Further sampling on the Salerno Creek Zone suggests that there is potential for several other parallel zones located to the north of the current sampling. The Salerno Creek Zone is one of two areas identified by the company that have been targeted for drill testing in 2014, pending financing, as part of the continued exploration of the Bobcaygeon project.

Valterra Resource and Riverside Start Exploration on the Swift Katie Cu-Au Project

Valterra Resource Corporation reported that Optionee, Riverside Resources Inc., has mobilized crews and begun initial surface exploration on the Swift Katie project in southeastern BC. The surface program will consist of mapping and soil and rock sampling as a prelude to a late summer drill program. Soil Sampling will extend the current soil grid to the northeast and southwest in order to cover an 11km by 3km target corridor of favourable geology, geochemistry and geophysics which has been identified on the property. Mapping and rock sampling will both confirm previous work and focus on areas of anomalous Cu-Au in soils and new targeting derived from Valterra's 2008 airborne Mag-EM survey over the property. Of particular focus for the 2014 program is a newly identified, high priority target 2km south of the historically defined Katie copper-gold porphyry deposit. The newly identified "Swift" porphyry target is characterized by a 2km by 2km multi-element soil anomaly underlain by a favourable geophysical signature; this forested area has limited outcrop but porphyritic intrusive rocks and altered volcanic rocks were recognized by Riverside geologists within and adjacent to the target area.

Valterra Resource Corporation and Great Lakes Graphite Form Strategic Alliance on Bobcaygeon Graphite Project

Valterra Resource Corporation and Great Lakes Graphite Inc. have entered into a Strategic Alliance with respect to provision of services relating to development, production and marketing of graphite product from Valterra's Bobcaygeon graphite property in Ontario. The Alliance has an initial term of three years during which Great Lakes Graphite will provide consulting services to Valterra, utilizing its specialized personnel, to assist in the development of the Bobcaygeon Project inclusive of assistance in raising development money for the Project.
