Kerry Stokes is reportedly considering bidding for Channel 5 Broadcasting Limited. Channel 5 has been put up for sale by Richard Desmond for AUD 700 million. Kerry Stokes would make the bid through his conglomerate Seven West Media Limited (ASX:SWM). British banking sources said Kerry Stokes expressed interest in Channel 5 in February 2014, when the sale process kicked off, and he may return with a firm offer in April 2014.
