Winnebago Industries, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells recreation vehicles primarily for use in leisure travel and outdoor recreation activities. It manufactures motor homes, which are self-propelled mobile dwellings that provide living accommodations and include kitchen, dining, sleeping, and bath areas, as well as a lounge; and optional equipment accessories, such as generators, home theater systems, king-size beds, upholstery, and interior equipment. The company offers motor homes constructed directly on medium- and heavy-duty truck chassis, which include engine and drivetrain components; motor homes built on van-type chassis onto which the motor home manufacturer constructs a living area with access to the driver's compartment under the Winnebago and Itasca brand names; and panel-type vans with sleeping, kitchen, and/or toilet facilities under the Era brand name. It also manufactures travel trailers and fifth wheel towable products under the Winnebago and SunnyBrook brand names, as well as original equipment manufacturing parts, including extruded aluminum and other component products for other manufacturers and commercial vehicles. The company sells its products through independent dealers primarily in the United States and Canada. Winnebago Industries, Inc. was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Forest City, Iowa.

Winnebago Industries' Unveils New 2014 Models

Winnebago Industries, Inc. unveiled new 2014 models to the company's Winnebago(R), Itasca(R), SunnyBrook(R) and Winnebago Touring Coach(TM) dealer partners at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV. It was "Game On" as Winnebago Industries showcased the new 2014 lineup and the debut of several all-new products, including the all-new Winnebago Touring Coach line which now joins Winnebago and Itasca to make up the three motorhome product lines of Winnebago Industries. Winnebago Touring Coach includes the very successful Era(R) product, which is built on the Mercedes-Benz(R) Sprinter chassis, as well as the new Travato(TM) Class B product built on the exciting new Ram ProMaster Chassis. The Travato is a new fuel-efficient entry into the Class B market with fuel economy of 15-18 miles per gallon and represents another aggressive "industry first" for Winnebago Industries. To expand on the launch of the affordable Class A gas Winnebago Vista(R) and Itasca Sunstar(R) 26HE, the Vista and Sunstar lineup has expanded to include the new 31KE model. Offering the same value traits, the 31KE is perfect for couples or families on the go with a U-shaped dinette, mid-coach TV and walk-around queen bed.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. announced that it is entering the mid-size vehicle transportation market with the introduction of the Metro Link(TM) bus. The Metro Link features a one-piece fiberglass roof, a fully welded, tubular steel framework, high gloss fiberglass sidewalls and exclusive frameless windows that offer exceptional performance and reduced long term maintenance. On the inside, the Metro Link offers fiberglass interior walls and a 78-inch center aisle height. Available in a number of passenger configurations, the Metro Link is highly customizable to meet the wide ranging needs of the transit and paratransit industry.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. Reports Consolidated Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and First Half Of 2012

Winnebago Industries, Inc. reported consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and first half Of 2012. For the second quarter, the company reported subsidiary generated an operating loss of $850,000 in the second quarter. Net revenues for the second quarter were $177.2 million, approximately a 35% increase from the second quarter of fiscal 2012. The primary growth in revenue was a result of increased motor home deliveries, coupled with a 2.1% increase in selling price. For the first half, the company lost $2.2 million.
