G. Willi-Food International Ltd. develops, imports, exports, markets, and distributes various food products worldwide. The company offers canned vegetables and pickles, including mushrooms, artichoke, beans, asparagus, capers, corn kernels, baby corn, palm hearts, vine leaves, sour pickles, mixed pickled vegetables, pickled peppers, sun dried tomatoes, black and green olives, filled olives, garlics, and roasted eggplants; and canned fish comprising tuna, sardines, anchovies, smoked and pressed cod liver, herring, fish paste, and salmon. It also provides canned fruits that include pineapple, peaches, apricots, pears, cherries, mangos, litchis, and fruit cocktail; edible oils comprising olive, sunflower, soybean, corn, and rapeseed oil; dairy and dairy substitutes consisting of cheese, feta, Bulgarian cubes, fetina, yogurts, butter, butter spreads, margarine, melted cheese, goat cheese, cheese alternatives, condensed milk, coffee whitener, whipped cream, and other products; and dried fruits, nuts, and beans, such as figs, apricots, chestnuts, sunflower and sesame seeds, walnuts, pine nuts, cashews, pistachios, and peanuts. In addition, the company offers noodle soups, frozen edamame soybeans, instant coffee, bagels, breadstick, coffee creamers, lemon juice, halva, Turkish delight, cookies, vinegar, sweet pastry and crackers, sauces, corn flour, rice, rice sticks, pasta, spaghetti and noodles, frozen pizzas and pastries, ice creams, breakfast cereals, corn flakes, rusks, couscous, gnocchi, tortilla, dried apples snacks, chocolate bars and chocolate paste, tea, deserts, light and alcoholic beverages, and green cola. It markets its products primarily under the Willi-Food and Gold Frost brands. The company was formerly known as G. Willi-Food Ltd. and changed its name to G. Willi-Food International Ltd. in June 1996. The company was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Yavne, Israel. G. Willi-Food International Ltd. is a subsidiary of Willi-Food Investments Ltd.

G. Willi Food-International Ltd. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported sales of ILS 94,969,000 against ILS 90,585,000 a year ago. Operating income was ILS 6,428,000 against ILS 9,179,000 a year ago. Income before taxes on income was ILS 9,763,000 against ILS 10,920,000 a year ago. Net income was ILS 7,107,000 or ILS 0.55 per basic and diluted share against ILS 8,250,000 or ILS 0.64 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net cash used in continuing operating activities was ILS 17,595,000 against ILS 6,713,000 a year ago. Acquisition of property plant and equipment were ILS 1,829,000 against ILS 4,395,000 a year ago. Sales were increased by 4.9% compared to the first quarter of 2013, primarily due to increased marketing efforts and sales activities combined with the growing demand from domestic and international customers for quality kosher products. The company expects the decline in its gross margins to continue in the second and third quarters of 2014 compared to 2013 second and third quarter's gross margins.
