Workforce Holdings Limited provides a range of inter-related solutions for the supply, management, and administration of the human resources requirements to various industry sectors in South Africa and internationally. Its Staffing and Recruitment segment offers staff outsourcing services, which provide human resources to clients on a short-and long-term basis; and recruitment and specialist staffing services, such as permanent and temporary placements, ad-response handling, executive search, call centre staffing, and skills importing and exporting services. The company’s Training and Consulting segment provides short courses, skills programs, and qualifications; technical trades; apprenticeships; recognition of prior learner; ABET, including literacy training; skills planning and analysis; training centre set-up and management; and learner ship and skills development project management services. This segment also offers industrial relations consulting, human resources consulting, B-BBEE optimization and consulting, compliance and reporting, learner ship management and administration, and special projects management services. Its Financial and Lifestyle Products segment provides lifestyle products and services, micro-loans, mobile phones and accessories, and branded products and appliances for employees; and staff loan book management, garnishee management, employee debt management, and financial management training and education services for employers. The company’s Employee Health Management segment offers services, including occupational healthcare; certificates of fitness; medical screening; absenteeism management; HIV/AIDS, TB, and chronic illness management; employee health and wellness programs; and employee assistance programs. Workforce Holdings Limited’s Process Outsourcing services segment provides manufacturing process and packaging process outsourcing solutions. The company was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa.

For the year, revenue was ZAR 1,658,802,000 against ZAR 1,471,744,000 for the last year. EBITDA was ZAR 29,554,000 against ZAR 43,893,000 for the last year. Operating profit was ZAR 20,710,000 against ZAR 35,142,000 for the last year. Profit before taxation was ZAR 8,112,000 against ZAR 25,352,000 for the last year. Profit for the year from continuing operations was ZAR 11,929,000 against ZAR 24,133,000 for the last year. Profit for the period was ZAR 3,632,000 against ZAR 18,047,000 for the last year. Workforce Holdings Limited Provides Earnings Guidance for the Year Ended December 31, 2013

Workforce Holdings Limited announced that for the year ended December 31, 2013 earnings per share and headline earnings per share is expected to be between 6 cents and 7 cents lower than the previous financial year’s restated results of 7.8 cents earnings per share and 7.9 cents headline earnings per share. This is due to losses from discontinuing operations as well as higher than normal bad debt write offs due to the board of directors implementing a more stringent evaluation of the debtors book.
