Xanadu Mines Limited explores and develops mineral exploration projects in Mongolia. The company primarily explores for porphyry copper and gold, as well as coal. It has interests in the Oyut Ulaan porphyry copper project comprising an area of 120 square kilometers located on the southeast of Ulaanbaatar; the Sharchuluut copper porphyry project covering an area of approximately 488 square kilometers located in the Bulgan Province of northern Mongolia; and the Elgen-Zost gold project, which is located in the Dornogovi Province of southern Mongolia. The company, through its Ekhgoviin Chuluu joint venture, also has interests in Nuurstei, Khavtsgait, and Khus coking coal exploration projects. Xanadu Mines Limited has a strategic alliance with the Noble Group. The company was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Xanadu Mines May Sell Ulaanbaatar Office Building To Lkhagvasuren Ganbayar

Xanadu Mines Ltd. (ASX:XAM) is in talks to sell and lease back of its 64% interest in its Ulaanbaatar office building to Lkhagvasuren Ganbayar, an Executive Director of Xanadu. The Xanadu Board believes the capital employed in the office building is better allocated to the advancement of its Kharmagtai and Oyut Ulaan exploration activities and working capital.
