zetes industries sa (ZTS) Key Developments

Zetes Industries SA Launches New Mobile Enterprise Application Platform

Zetes Industries SA launched MCL Mobility Platform, its new mobile enterprise application platform, or MEAP, for supply chain process execution. With the MCL Mobility Platform, Zetes' customers can build, deploy, run and manage mobile applications faster and from virtually anywhere, regardless of operating system (OS) or mobile device. The MCL Mobility Platform is unique because it combines two features that create unrivalled synergy for its supply chain customers. Firstly, it is dedicated to supply chain process execution; and secondly, it manages the entire mobile infrastructure, application and device lifecycle - enabling a 'build once, deploy to many' approach. With the platform, customers can manage the entire mobile infrastructure lifecycle, from building and/or enhancing the application, deployment and integration, right through to the management of applications, devices and users. The MCL Mobility Platform provides multi-platform and device-independent feature. The features of the all-in-one platform includes: central management; cloud-based, pay as go solution; and full lifecycle support. Applications are built once and deployed to as many devices as needed, regardless of the operating system or device type (industrial and consumer devices). This removes the need for costly and time-consuming (re)development and testing. Applications, users and devices are managed centrally, from virtually anywhere. This reduces the need for complex IT infrastructure and facilitates management of heterogeneous or geographically dispersed estates. The MCL Mobility Platform is available as a SaaS platform that removes the need to invest in costly IT infrastructure, is scalable and gives clear visibility of costs. The platform enables pro-active management and monitoring of apps and devices to ensure optimal performance. The MCL Mobility Platform is a platform dedicated to supply chain process execution. It offers a wide range of standard, ready-to-use supply chain functionality, e.g. barcode scanning, RFID reading, voice recognition, NFC, image capture. This significantly faciltates and accelerates the building, enhancement and maintainance of applications and ensures rapid access to all device functionality. It also enables supply chain companies to manage applications from warehouse to store using a single platform.

Zetes Industries SA Reports Earnings Results for the Year 2013; Provides Earnings Guidance for the First Half of 2014; Proposes Gross Ordinary Dividend

Zetes Industries SA reported earnings results for the year 2013. For the year, the company reported sales amounted to EUR 211.5 million compared to EUR 214.1 million in 2012 and current EBITDA to EUR 13.5 million compared to EUR 14.1 million in 2012. The good earnings growth in the second half is due entirely to Goods ID, which recorded a profit well above that of the first half of 2013, and also compared with the second half of 2012 (+15.8%). Finally, the net current profit reached EUR 4.0 million, with a net profit of EUR 3.4 million down 3.6% compared with 2012. EBIT reached EUR 5.9 million in 2013, 71% of which was generated in the second half. The cash flow from operations is EUR 4.0 million, consisting of EUR 10.3 million generated in the income statement offset by the EUR 6.3 million increase in working capital. This significant increase is linked in particular to: the increase in construction contracts and prepaid expenses for the People ID projects (EUR 1.9 million); equipment leased out (EUR 2.1 million of LT receivables, included in the working capital need); faster payment of suppliers (EUR 2.3 million). The company also announced that the good performance of Goods ID combined with a combination of short and long-term contracts in People ID should produce noticeably better results in first half of 2014 than the same period in 2013. The Board of Directors of Zetes Industries SA will be proposing to the ordinary general meeting that it declare a gross ordinary dividend of EUR 0.55 per share. This is unchanged from the previous year.
