The company’s products range from warm, lightweight fleece jackets to women’s merino rib turtleneck sweaters in 108 different colors. It also offers men’s shirts made from European fabric cashmere and sweaters made from Inner Mongolian cashmere. As of February 28, 2005, the company operated 653 stores in suburban areas and stores in shopping centers in Japan, UK, and Shanghai. As of August 31, 2004, the company’s total sales floor space was 363,901 square meters. The company intends to take control of apparel firm Nelson Finances S.A.S., a developer of the ‘COMPTOIR DES COTONNIERS’ clothing brand in France.
