BMA operates the Goonyella Riverside, Peak Downs, Saraji, Norwich Park (production ceased), Blackwater, Broadmeadow, Daunia and Gregory Crinum (open-cut production ceased) mines, together with the Hay Point Coal terminal. In June 2014, EQT Corporation and NextEra US Gas Assets, LLC, an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of NextEra Energy, Inc., announced the beginning of a non-binding open season for the Mountain Valley Pipeline project.
