Bakken Resources, Inc. engages in the acquisition, exploration, exploitation, and development of oil and natural gas properties in the United States. The company intends to initially focus its activities mainly in the Williston Basin, a sedimentary basin in eastern Montana, western North and South Dakota, and southern Saskatchewan. The company owns 50% of the mineral rights to approximately 6,000 gross acres (approximately 3,000 net mineral acres) of land located in McKenzie County, North Dakota; a 50% net mineral interest in the Duck Lake acreage minerals covering approximately 2,200 acres located in Glacier County, Montana; and a 17% working interest participation in an oil well located in Archer County, Texas.
