Convertibles: Convertibles trading involves both secondary trading and market making and the trading of credit default and asset swaps and distributing market information and research. The global convertibles business is an originator of new issues throughout the world. Prime services: Prime services provides a range of services to hedge funds and institutional clients, including prime brokerage, start-up services, capital introductions, securities clearing, hedge fund administration, synthetics and financing solutions. Arbitrage trading The company’s arbitrage trading business focuses on liquidity-providing strategies in the major global equity and fixed income markets. Lending includes senior bank debt in the form of syndicated loans and commitments to extend credit to investment grade and non-investment grade borrowers.
