As part of this, the company and Hua Xia Bank have jointly developed and distributed credit cards in China. In India, PBC has 17 branches. India and China are considered Asian core markets for PBC. Products and Services PBC offers a similar range of banking products and services throughout Europe and Asia, with some variations among countries that are driven by local market, regulatory, and customer requirements. The company provides portfolio/fund management (investment advice, discretionary portfolio management, and securities custody services) and brokerage services to its clients. The company provides loan and deposit services, with a strategy focusing on property financing (including mortgages) and consumer and commercial loans, as well as traditional current accounts, savings accounts, and time deposits. The property finance business, which includes mortgages and construction finance, is the company’s lending business. The company provides property finance loans primarily for private purposes, such as home financing. Loan and deposit products also include the home loan and savings business in Germany, offered through company’s subsidiaries, such as Deutsche Bank Bauspar AG and BHW Bausparkasse AG. PBC’s deposits and payment services consist of the administration of current accounts in local and foreign currency, as well as the settlement of domestic and cross-border payments on these accounts. PBC’s deposits and payment services also include the purchase and sale of payment media and the sale of insurance products, home loan and savings contracts, and credit cards. Distribution Channels and Marketing The company markets its services throughout the European and Asian countries, which are of strategic focus and in which PBC is active directly. Investment and Finance Centers offer the company’s range of products and advice. In various countries, the company markets its retail banking products and services through self-employed financial agents.
