Mineral Properties Turkey The company has two operating mines in Turkey: Kiþladað – open pit gold mine and Efemçukuru – underground gold mine. Kisladag: The Kisladag Mine, an open pit gold mine in Usak Province, Turkey. The company owns a 100% interest in Kisladag through its wholly owned Turkish subsidiary Tuprag Metal Madencilik Sanayi Ve Ticaret SA. The Kisladag land position consists of 1 operating license and a total area of 15,717 hectares. Efemcukuru: Efemcukuru is located in Izmir Province, Turkey. The company owns a 100% interest in Efemçukuru through its subsidiary, Tü prag Metal Madencilik Sanay ve Ticaret SA. Efemcukuru consists of operating licenses covering 2,262 hectares. China Tanjianshan (TJS): The Tanjianshan Mine is owned through a joint venture company, Qinghai Dachaidan Mining Limited (QDML). The company owns a 90% interest in the Tanjianshan mine. The Tanjianshan project consist of 4 large contiguous exploration licenses, including Qinlongshan covering 65.43 square kilometers, Qingshan covering 72.12 square kilometers, Jinlonggou covering 88.03 square kilometers, and Xijingou covering 81.34 square kilometers. Jinfeng: Jinfeng is an open pit and underground gold mine located in Guizhou Province, southwest China. The property is owned through a joint venture company, Sino Guizhou Jinfeng Mining Limited, in which the company owns 82% interest. Jinfeng is in Guizhou Province in southern China, 180 kilometers southwest of Guiyang. It has a license covering 1.2843 square kilometers. White Mountain Mine: The company owns 95% interest in the White Mountain Mine located in Jilin Province, southwest China. It has a mining license covering 29.4 hectares. White Mountain is in Jilin Province in northeast China, 230 km southeast of Changchun. Eastern Dragon: The company holds its interest in the Eastern Dragon Project through a joint venture company, Heihe Rockmining Limited, which is 95% owned by the company. The Eastern Dragon exploration license covers an area of 0.14 square kilo meters. Eastern Dragon is in Heilongjiang Province in northern China, approximately 425 kilometers north of the provincial capital Harbin, and 45 kilometers southeast of the town of Xunke. Brazil Vila Nova Iron Ore Mine: The company has mining rights for 4,254 hectares under 2 licenses. The Vila Nova property is located 175 kilometers west of Macapá, the capital of Amapá State, in northeastern Brazil. The company has exploration licenses that cover 152,000 hectares around the former Vila Nova gold project. Tocantinzinho: The Tocantinzinho project is located in the state of Pará in northern Brazil, in the Tapajós region. The company has a 100% ownership interest in this project through its wholly owned subsidiary, Brazauro Recursos Minerais Ltd. Greece The company has three development projects, and one silver, lead, zinc operating mine in Greece. Perama Hill: This project is located in the eastern Thrace region of northern Greece. The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Thracean Gold Mining, has a 100% interest in the property. It includes 2 mining titles covering 1,897.5 hectares. Stratoni: This project is located in the Chalkidiki Peninsula of northern Greece. The company, through its 95%-owned subsidiary, Hellas Gold S.A., owns 5 mining concessions (F12, F15, F16, F17 and OP25) covering 38 square kilometers. Skouries: The Skouries project is located in the Chalkidiki peninsula in northern Greece, 100 km east of Thessaloniki and 35 km by road from the Stratoni port. The company, through its 95%-owned subsidiary, Hellas Gold S.A., owns 8 mining concessions (OP03, OP04, OP20, OP38, OP39, OP40, OP48, and OP57) covering 55.1 square kilometers. Olympias Project: The Olympias property is located in the Chalkidiki peninsula in northern Greece. The company, through its 95%-owned subsidiary, Hellas Gold S.A., owns 2 mining concessions (F13 and F14) covering 49.7 square kilometers. Romania The company has one development project in Romania called as Certej – gold development project. The company, through its 80%-owned subsidiary, Deva Gold S.A., owns an exploitation concession covering 26.7 square kilometers. The company holds, through Deva Gold S.A., an exploration concession for the Baita-Craciunesti area. It also acquired 2 prospecting licenses, such as the Brad and the Deva-Muncel concessions that collectively cover 475 square kilometers to the northwest and southwest of Certej. History The company was founded in 1992. It was formerly known as Eldorado Corporation Ltd. and changed its name to Eldorado Gold Corporation in 1996.
