Orange Bissau is present on the mobile (2G), Internet, and fixed voice markets using voice over Internet protocol technology. As of December 31, 2011, the company had 1,055 customers. Uganda: The company and Hits Telecom Uganda formed Orange Uganda Ltd to provide telecommunication services under the Orange brand. Orange Uganda Ltd, 65.93% controlled by the company. Orange Uganda launched its mobile telecommunications services with 2G and 3G technologies. As of December 31, 2011, the company had 622,000 active mobile customers. In 2011, it launched new products, such as Fleet Live for vehicle fleet management, video conferencing using mobile communications, and high definition voice products. Democratic Republic of Congo: In 2011, the company acquired 100% of the mobile operator CCT by buying the 51% stake held by the Chinese telecommunications manufacturer ZTE and the remaining 49% from the Congolese State.
