In some of its markets, the company also offers services that provide the subscribers on its iDEN networks with instant communication capabilities in various other ways, including a push-to-email application that allows a user to send a streaming voice message from the handset to an email recipient using its Direct Connect feature; Direct Talk, a service available on certain handsets that enables off-network walkie-talkie communication; and Desktop Dispatch, a service that allows users to send Direct Connect messages between Nextel handsets and any Internet connected personal computer. Wireless Data Services The company offers various wireless data services and solutions that are designed to help its customers increase their productivity through the delivery of real-time information to mobile workers anytime and anywhere. Internet Access: The company offers its customers always-on connectivity to the Internet directly from their device through mobile Internet access, which combines the vast resources of the Internet with mobile content services. The launch of services on its new WCDMA networks in Brazil, Mexico, Peru, and Chile provide Internet access at mobile broadband speeds supported by its WCDMA-enabled handsets, data air cards, and other data access devices through its Internet Nextel data services offer. Messaging Services: The company offers a range of messaging services, including SMS, multimedia messaging services, and mobile email.
