Home Healthcare Solutions: It includes sleep management, respiratory care, and non-invasive ventilation; medical alert and medication dispensing services for independent living; and remote patient monitoring. Customer Services: It includes equipment services and support, including service contracts, equipment maintenance, proactive monitoring, and multi-vendor services; managed service programs, including equipment financing and asset management; and professional services, including consulting, site planning and project management, education, and design. Markets: The company operates in the United States, Japan, China, and Germany. It has presence in the Middle East with strategic alliances in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi. Seasonality: Sales at Healthcare are generally higher in the second half of the year (December 2012) largely due to the timing of new product availability and customer spending patterns. Regulatory Requirements: The company is committed to compliance with regulatory product approval and quality system requirements in every market it serves by addressing specific terms and conditions of local and national regulatory authorities, including the U.S. FDA and comparable foreign agencies.
