In accordance with an agreement signed on December 20, 2011, Alliance Oil Company Ltd. and Repsol S.A. have completed the first phase of their joint hydrocarbon exploration and production venture with the integration of Alliance assets and the acquisition of shares by Repsol S.A. In January 2013, Alliance Oil Company Ltd. and Repsol have completed the agreed transactions to form the joint venture company AR Oil and Gaz BV (AROG) in which Alliance Oil holds 51% and Repsol 49%. Alliance Oil Company has transferred its upstream company Tatnefteotdacha to AROG. History The company was founded in 1986.
