Saudi Public Transport Company provides integrated transportation solutions. The company is involved in passenger public road network transport in Saudi Arabia, as well as the transfer of non-postal parcels, cargo, school transport, teachers transport, car rental, and sand and gravel transport. It also operates and maintains trains, metros, cars, and trucks; organizes tours; transports visitors and pilgrims; and imports spare parts and chemical detergents for vehicles. The company operates a fleet of approximately 3,000 buses of various capacities and sizes carrying out 579 daily scheduled trips, connecting 600 cities, towns, and villages, through terminals in Saudi Arabia, as well as through a network of local and international agents. In addition, it provides scheduled daily international trips to Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the U.A.E., Yemen, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Sudan; and contract and charter services primarily to the government departments, official delegations, foreign embassies, private companies, and Umrah organizers. The company’s intracity services cover cities, including Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Jeddah, Taif, Dammam, Abha, Gaseem, Tabuk, and Hael. Further, it offers special transportation to the Holy Shrines during Hajj and Ramadan; VIP services with direct and non-stop trips; charter bus services; and school/college transportation services.
