The company also provides marine cargo insurance; engineering insurance products comprising machinery breakdown, contractor’s all risks, contractor’s plant and machinery, erection all risks, and electronics equipment’s insurance products; medical malpractice insurance; and co-operative group health insurance. In addition, it offers individual protection and saving products; and protection Hemaya plan for individual and group. The company was formerly known as Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance and changed its name to WAFA Insurance Company in June 2012. WAFA Insurance Company was founded in 2007 and is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
