Vane Minerals Plc engages in the exploration, development, and management of precious metals projects principally in Mexico. It principally targets gold and silver. It is developing three properties that include Diablito, Guadalcazar and Mina Charay. In 2005, the company has obtained exploration rights to 16 properties in the breccia pipe uranium district of Northern Arizona. Diablito Project The company also has interest in Diablito project. The Diablito project was undertaken to explore a massive epithermal quartz vein containing economic values of gold and silver together with sub-economic values of copper, lead, and zinc located in west-central Mexico. Guadalcazar The company’s projects principally include the prospective Guadalcazar Property in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. In 2004, VANE has completed a detailed geochemical survey, geophysical surveys and geologic mapping of the limestone’s surrounding the Guadalcazar basin. Mina Charay The company has acquired an option to purchase the Mina Charay gold-silver property located in the State of Sinaloa, Mexico. Paraguay In Paraguay, the company has applied for three large concessions in east central Paraguay totaling 3,800 sq kilometers, where at least 22 gold and/or gold/copper geochemical anomalies have been identified. First phase diamond drilling, 7 holes, has been completed along with a reconnaissance VLF survey. History The company was formerly known as Vane Holdings Plc and changed its name to Vane Minerals Plc in 2005.
