JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) acquired The District apartments at 14th and S streets NW from The JBG Companies, LLC for $76 million on March 20, 2013. Dave Nachsion and Alan Davis of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P. represented JBG Companies.

Wingspan Portfolio Advisors, LLC entered into an agreement to acquire mortgage servicing operation in Melbourne from JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) on February 20, 2013. As part of the agreement, Wingspan will offer positions to more than 400 JPMorgan Chase employees and has acquired the lease of the Melbourne office building. The deal is expected to close on February 25, 2013.

Deutsche Bank AG (DB:DBK), The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (LSE:RBS), Barclays PLC (LSE:BARC), Citigroup, Inc. (NYSE:C), JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM), Nomura Holdings, Inc. (TSE:8604) and Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. (all referred as investors) acquired 12% stake in Traiana Inc. from ICAP plc (LSE:IAP) for $36 million on January 14, 2013. Collectively, the investors also have an opportunity under certain conditions to acquire in the future an additional 20% equity ... in Traiana for a price of up to $82.5 million. As part of the agreement, Traiana created a new Board of Directors, led by Traiana Founder and Executive Chairman, Gil Mandelzis. The Board of Directors includes Traiana's Chief Executive Officer, Andy Coyne, and a representative from each of the investing banks. ICAP will continue to consolidate Traiana as a subsidiary. For the six month period ending September 30, 2012 Traiana had revenues of £20 million ($32.25 million). Evercore Partners Inc. acted as financial advisor for Traiana Inc. and ICAP plc. A partnership led by Kennedy-Wilson Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:KW) acquired The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe from HSBC Holdings plc (LSE:HSBA), U.S. Bank, N.A., JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) and Bank Of America N.A for $73.6 million on December 18, 2012. The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Lake Tahoe were acquired from the property's lenders. Kennedy Wilson acquired the property free and clear of existing debt. Kennedy Wilson invested $18 million of ... equity in the transaction for a 50% ownership interest. An unnamed institutional investment partner also invested $18 million for its stake. Pacific Western Bank extended a mortgage financing of $45 million, which includes some financing for capital expenditures. Holden Lim of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler acted as real estate advisor for US Bank N.A., HSBC Holdings plc, Bank of America N.A. and JP Morgan Chase & Co.
