INEOS Industries Holdings Limited signed an agreement to acquire Styrolution Group GmbH from BASF SE for €1.1 billion on June 30, 2014. After the purchase Styrolution will be run separately as a standalone company within INEOS. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and appropriate antitrust authorities, which is expected in the fourth quarter of 2014.
